Zoo New England

Zoo New England's mission is to inspire people to protect and sustain the natural world for future generations by creating fun and engaging experiences that integrate wildlife and conservation programs, research and education.

Zoo New England's Education and Conservation Efforts

Education is an important part of Zoo New England's conservation efforts. The zoo presents programs to school groups, college students and after school programs as well as conducting adult education classes, running a summer camp and providing teacher workshops.

Zoo New England focuses not only on conservation education, but also actively participates in conservation efforts domestically and abroad. Zoo New England sends money and experienced zoo personnel to volunteer for projects such as Blanding's Turtle Project in Massachusetts, Post-earthquake Panda Conservation in China and Snow Wattled Crane Conservation in South Africa.
