Reuse Your Electronics – Los Angeles

In recent years the Environmental Protection Agency has estimated that Americans have thrown out more than 2 million tons of electronic waste annually. Your first option should be to donate or sell your used electronics, keeping them out of the waste stream. However, if the items are no longer of any use, learn how to properly get rid them with ecomii's guide to eWaste disposal.

Los Angeles Resources for Reusing Electronics

  • Donate and find used electronics at your local Freecycle chapter.

  • Visit a Salvation Army to donate your TVs, air conditioners and other electronics.

  • Donate electronics and other items to Goodwill. Click here to find a location near you.

  • Sell your electronics on LA's Craigslist.

  • Oodle.com will help you find a place to donate your electronics in Los Angeles.

If you have a small appliance, bulk item, computer or cell phone that you cannot reuse, recycle it!
