African Daisy (Dimorphotheca Sinuata)
By Bill Marken & The National Gardening Association

The Dimorphotheca sinuata African daisy, compared with the Arctotis African daisy, has smaller flowers and lower, more spreading plants — 12 inches tall and 18 inches wide.

Bright, dark-centered flowers in shades of orange, pink, red, and white make a cheerful show in late winter in mild climates, and in summer elsewhere.

Use the plants for a carpet like effect, as a border, or to fill in between ground covers. Sow these seeds directly in the ground in full sun. Plant in early spring in cold-winter climates, or in fall in mild-winter climates. African daisies come back from year to year if conditions suit them.
