I have to admit, I didn't vote until I read the article under "read more." Coal is not clean and although Gov regulations can help to decrease the pollution they cause, it will never be clean. SWITCH TO SOLAR AMERICA!

Tim, I'm with you: I had to read the article before voting. Nevertheless, it is clear that coal isn't clean and we have to change our energy options. We should focus on adopting every possible alternative energy source that we can: solar, wind, geothermal, nuclear etc. Choosing one is just not going to do the trick.
