Sex and the Single Vegan is a lighthearted comedy about a single vegan woman living in Los Angeles. Joanne plays Jennifer Richards, an attractive 30-something going through a typical 30′s crisis with a vegan twist.
The quirky sitcom begins as Rose blogs about the misadventures of dating life and rates her dates in each blog with food metaphors.
One day her blog goes viral and after an outspoken rant on national TV, Jennifer becomes entangled with a top-notch pastry chef named Michael Pierce.
Meanwhile producers from a struggling TV network have been following Jennifer’s blog. If her blog became a TV show on the network it could boost its viewership. Jennifer has suddenly been deemed an expert in the field of dating.
Rose is raising funds for the project on Mobcaster to make her Sex and the Single Vegan sitcom a reality. The producer is giving away some cool perks to those who contribute. One lucky contributor can hang out on the set for a day and actually appear in the show!
This is a sitcom set to present the health conscious and planet-friendly vegan with warmth and humor. If you are interested in supporting healthy vegan living and care about animals and the future of the planet, please consider contributing to this project.
