Matt Brignall

Matthew Brignall is a naturopathic physician specializing in evidence-based clinical nutrition, botanical medicine, and supportive cancer care. He is a Clinical Instructor at Bastyr University, Seattle, WA, and the Director of Health Sciences for SaluGenecists, Inc, the company that created the health assessment modules featured on EcoMii.

Dr. Brignall has worked with cancer patients in a number of different clinical settings, including conventional hospital-based practices, teaching clinics, and alternative medicine centers. He has been a contributing author on a number of scientific and lay publications, including a high profile article on the interactions between nutritional supplements and chemotherapy agents.

Dr. Brignall is on the board of directors of the Northwest Rett Syndrome Foundation and on the medical advisory board of NouJour Clinique. In addition to his professional duties, he provides peer-to-peer counseling for parents of children with neurodevelopmental disabilities.

Dr. Brignall grew up in Kalamazoo, MI. He did his undergraduate pre-medical training at the University of Michigan, and received his N.D. degree from Bastyr University in 1999. Currently, Dr. Brignall lives in Tacoma, WA, with his wife, daughter, and a collection of obscure musical instruments.
