Deborah Elkins lives in Brentwood and is happily married to Brett Elkins, an author and champion racquetball player. They are a vegan family with four children, Dane 15, Jaden 13, Cody 9 and Madison 7.

Deborah is an active volunteer at three local schools and has started a ‘Bagel Mom’ program that feeds hungry kids at Paul Revere Middle School in Brentwood, Palisades High School in Pacific Palisades, local shelters and at UCLA where she earned a BA in Sociology.

Deborah’s Bagel Mom movement supports the Food Closet program at UCLA, which feeds up to 1,000 kids a day.

Her family leads an active lifestyle, traveling together, reading, writing, cooking new vegan recipes and spending time with friends and family.

Deborah hosts vegan events and encourages organizations to cater vegan lunches and her goal is to inspire schools to go All Veg.
